Apparently, I work in Philadelphia's "French Quarter" I didn't know we had one, but then neither did the street's department, as they just added the "french quarter" addendum to the street signs yesterday. It makes sense though, we do have two Au Bon Pains. |

Wow, this makes me feel so international, so cosmopolitan...
so weirded out. I look out my office window and there is a french
flag seven floors down waving above the traffic.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the french. I am 1/3 french
myself. The big gay Fugates are from France. |

I just think this whole
lets-advertise-the-city-to-the-city campaign is a little weak.
It seems like we're grasping at straws here (or in this case,
baguettes...) I don't even know any french people! Next Week: look for Philadelphia's Little Moscow AND the opening of the city's 5th Hagendaz. Right here in the new German District! |
